Shops and Pubs
The next shops are in Glendale, just a few minutes by car, also a very small restaurant "An Strupag" is in Glendale. The shops provide the essentials like bread and things like that (one is also the local post office). A small supermarket ("An Fasgadh") is in Dunvegan just opposite the Fruit and Nut Shop which is very good for fresh vegetables and dairy products. You will also find a bakery in Dunvegan. Not to forget the free range eggs from John and Debbie, just a two minutes walk from the house.

Apart from the An Strupag in Glendale, who are licensed, The Misty Isle Hotel and the Bar at the Dunvegan Hotel are the nearest Pubs.
